Linguistic Analysis of Czech Texts on Social Network Twitter

This bachelor thesis focuses on linguistic analysis of texts from the social network Twitter. Based on the data corpus, which includes contributions from several users within selected and defined user groups, a complex linguistic analysis was performed. The focus is on language sings which are potentially specific solely for Twitter communication. Generalizing conclusions were made after the definition and concretion of particular linguistic elements. Two hypotheses have been verified; the first assumes that Twitter texts are affected by the limited number of characters and the second one assumes that Twitter users create a specific language style.
